John A. Williams

John A. Williams graduated first in his class, summa cum laude, from the University of Florida College of Business in 1996, with a degree in Business Management.  In 2000, he graduated cum laude from the University of Florida College of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree.  After spending 11 years in large Tampa firms, he founded The Law Offices of John A. Williams, PLLC, in 2012, so that he could provide superior service to his clients and focus on running his own firm.  He tailors his practice in the areas of estate planning, business planning, estate (probate) and trust administration, Medicaid/long term health care planning, VA benefit planning, general elder law, guardianships, and asset protection and preservation strategies.  John has copyrighted a Medicaid planning technique and has been hired as an expert witness on the subjects of trust and estate issues in a number of court cases that were ultimately decided in favor of the party for whom he testified.

John grew up in Ocala, Florida, where he met his wife of 22 years, before moving to Tampa in 2000 to begin his legal career and start a family.  He currently has 6 children, along with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 monkeys (believe it or not!).  He attends Northpointe Church in Lutz, Florida and enjoys spending time with his family most of all.
